Winc offers something a bit different because most wine clubs go out and search for great wines, while Winc goes out and makes them. They have wineries all over the world to get the tastes of different grapes in their different wines.

They have a variety of reds, whites, rose, sparkling wines and more. They even offer vegan wines and cider. You’ll never get bored with this wine club. How do they decide which wines to send you?

Well you have a choice of allowing them to choose for you based on a few questions about your taste profile and/or you can choose them yourself. You might decide to allow them to choose and then switch out ones that you don’t want, which is allowed.

If you ever get a bottle of wine that you don’t like, Winc will credit your account for that bottle, no questions asked. They will also skip a month without charge or cancel your account if you so choose. The longer you use Winc, the better they can pair you with wines you love because you can rate the wines, they send you and you’ve tasted to let them know even more about your preferred taste.

Membership Benefits

A membership shipment is a minimum of three bottles which costs $9 to ship but if you buy just one more bottle for a total of four, shipping is free. Seems like a no brainer to me. Free shipping saves you a ton of money in the long run and is a great option to have.

There are also membership perks like saving 10% on purchases of 12 bottles or more and getting bonuses for friend referrals.

Winc select is an option that you can choose that will offer you the most exclusive wines. These are most expensive but have a more luxurious taste. Upgrading is free but your wine selection will be a bit more expensive. Of course, you can downgrade to a regular membership whenever you choose.

Ease of Use

This wine club is relatively easy to use. You answer a quick survey, you’re matched with four wines, you give them your address and payment method and you’ll get wine delivered to your door. It’s that easy.

You are under no obligation to buy. You always have the choice to skip a month if you won’t be around because you will need to have an adult sign for the wine at the door.

You will always be paired with great wines based on your initial quiz and any wine ratings that you complete afterwards. There’s really no brainwork involved. You don’t have to worry about shopping, driving, or choosing which wines to use. Winc does all the heavy lifting.

Pricing

This wine club has a pricing that is a little different. Not all bottles are priced the same and they don’t have a set monthly fee. Instead, they allow you to choose four bottles and charge you the total price of all the bottles put together. This means that you can choose the cheaper bottles on months that you want to save a bit of money or buy the more expensive ones if you feel like splurging on the more luxurious bottles.

Most of the standard bottles are anywhere from $12-$19. There are several wines that are more expensive and are offered to those who have upgraded their membership to Winc select.
